Upcoming Public Meetings

The Northwest Bozeman Area Plan is entering an important next phase. After months of community conversations, stakeholder meetings, and public input, the draft plan will soon be released and reviewed by City and County boards before moving into the formal adoption process later this winter.

There are several opportunities coming up for community members to learn more, follow the discussion, and provide public comment.

Upcoming Work Sessions

The plan will be presented to several boards and commissions this fall:

  • September 23: City Transportation Board
  • October 13: Gallatin County Planning Board
  • October 14: City Sustainability Board
  • October 19: City Community Development Board
  • October 20: City Commission

These work sessions are an opportunity for boards and commissioners to review the plan, ask questions, and discuss recommendations before the formal adoption process begins.

Looking Ahead: Adoption Process

Following the work sessions, the plan is anticipated to move into the adoption process, including two public hearings:

  • November 16: City Community Development Board
  • December 15: City Commission

Community members are encouraged to stay engaged as the plan moves through these next steps. Meeting agendas, locations, and information about how to participate or provide public comment will be available through the City as each meeting approaches.
