Master plan approved!

We have an approved master plan! Last Tuesday, Bozeman City Commission adopted the Cattail Creek Corridor and Anchor Route Master Plan, marking a major milestone forward for this project. Thank you to everyone who has participated and given feedback. Because of you, we have a stronger vision for how this trail will integrate into our community.

So, what’s next? Next year, we’ll be doing engagement with the West Winds HOA and surrounding neighbors to narrow in on the site work that is part of this section of trail. We’ll also do revegetation and trail improvements near Greenway Park and will work with nearby neighbors on that section of the trail as well. You’ll see improvements and wayfinding signage being installed as early as next year, and the earliest we expect the full trail to be completed is 2030.

We’re excited to bring this important route to west Bozeman. When it’s done, you’ll be able to take the 3.5-mile trail from E Valley Center Road to the Gallatin Valley Mall. We’re looking forward to celebrating the new space with you all when it’s finally completed.
