October Update

The Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) is now being updated following the close of the public comment period on September 15. Our consultant synthesized the comments received into the draft report, which was submitted to City staff for review at the end of September.

Public comments, requests, and suggestions are being considered throughout the update process and will help inform revisions from the draft Plan to the final version. An updated draft of the UFMP will be submitted to City staff and the Urban Parks and Forestry Board for review in October. Final edits are expected to be completed at the end of November, with the Final UFMP then submitted to the City Commission for review ahead of a City Commission presentation on December 8.

Community members are welcome to stay involved throughout the remainder of the update process. While there are no additional formal public engagement opportunities planned, project files and updates will continue to be shared on this page.
