This year’s theme is [Our] Story, a celebration of Bozeman's people, places, and culture. Throughout the month of May, the Historic Preservation Advisory Board and partners will host lectures, preservation awards, and tours about Bozeman's history. See key dates on the right to learn more and sign up for them. More events and details will be added as they get solidified.
Nominations for the 2022 Historic Preservation and Legacy Awards are open! See below to submit your nomination which are open until Saturday, April 30. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 25 at the Emerson. You can view past preservation award winners below as well.
We are also looking to our community to help tell stories of Bozeman's history and a more diverse narrative. See "Tell us your story" section below to participate!

Restoration/Rehabilitation (Residential) - This project recognizes an exceptional effort in the preservation of a structure that enhances its character and maximizes its distinct features.

Landscape- This project recognizes enhancement to the landscaping that promotes sustainability techniques while respecting the context and history of the areaCannery District, 113 E. Oak
Signage- This project recognizes the restoration of a historic sign.

Cultural Heritage - This project recognizes the overlooked history of minority groups in Bozeman and how their voices and stories are respected and heightened.
